Policy:


It is the policy that JCS will serve age-eligible students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten in Academy and/or Home Study programs. In the case that students who are not age-eligible apply for enrollment, the CDE recommends that districts establish criteria to determine selection requirements. This policy does not obligate the JCS charter to enroll students who are age-ineligible for TK or Kindergarten but, should charter leaders determine it is in the best interests of their school communities, the procedures outlined below may be followed.
