Student Outcomes (Data) Overview Student Data CAASPP NWEA MAP HSA CAASPP (State Testing) This year, PV students performed below standard in both ELA and Math. They have a small population of 74 students, the 2nd smallest in the JCS network. At a glance, you can see that 3rd graders perform the lowest among other grades in both ELA and Math. Grade 6 performs highest in ELA and grade 5 performs highest in math. CAASPP (State Testing) Overall, Home Study students are outperforming Academy students. The Academy population is very small, just 20 students which is less than half of the Home Study population. It is also important to not that, while a higher percentage of Academy student tested proficient in ELA, the DFS is lower. This tells us that either students who did not show proficiency in ELA had very low scores, dragging the DFS down for the entire program OR a significant population of students who demonstrated proficiency were on the cusp of standard nearly met and standard met. CAASPP (State Testing) PV Hispanic students outperform the school in both ELA by +26.6 points and underperform the school in Math by -4.4 points. Limited Income students also outperform the school in ELA by +2.8 points and underperform the school in Math by -2 points. SwD perform below the school in both subjects with an ELA difference of -48.2 points and a math difference of -74.1 points. ELL population is too small to share. Safety Plan Review & Input (Safety Committee) Comprehensive Safety Plan (CSP) The CSP is a school resource for preparedness, prevention, mitigation, response and recovery planning and training. The CSP is a requirement of the annual Safety Plan Process under SB 187 and the National Incident Management System. The CSP is updated and approved annually by the School Safety Committee by March 1st for the following school year. The School Safety Committee may complete the Facility Inspection Tool (FIT). Are there any safety hazards you see in your workplace/school space? Do you have any health and safety concerns which need to be addressed by the school? What questions do you have? What topics would you like to see on the February SSC agenda? Roundtable Discussion Thank you!
